Faithful Reflections: Adapting to Change

Story

Change is never easy—especially when it comes quickly and disrupts the way we’re used to doing things. I remember the first time I had to use AI tools in my work and life. I felt uncertain, even resistant. “What does this mean for my future? Am I being replaced?” But as I leaned into the change, I began to see opportunity: AI wasn’t here to replace me—it could help me grow, learn, and do more with wisdom and balance.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us:
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens."

God knows every season we enter—including those filled with new technology, systems, and ways of thinking.

Insight

Adapting to change doesn’t mean abandoning who we are. It means trusting God as we grow, staying grounded in faith while remaining open to what He may be doing through something new. Whether it’s AI or a new job, a family transition or an unexpected shift—God is still in control.

Isaiah 43:19 says:
"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?"

God can use change to stretch us, teach us, and prepare us for greater purpose.

Prayer

Lord, change is hard, and at times it feels overwhelming. But I trust that You are with me in every new season. Help me to adapt with grace, to embrace what’s ahead with wisdom, and to see Your hand even in unfamiliar places. Teach me to grow without fear. Amen.

Daily Verse

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
—Hebrews 13:8
